Its my birthday today and I am so blessed, with super health, good family the best friends good job, sweet house, brilliant dog, awesome ideals an dreams and the love of Christ in my heart. I have Jesus Christ on my side, and he is so big, creator of the universe, so there it is. Amen.

This painting comes out of that love for God, he first loved me, He died for me, He loves me so much.

I used paint, paper, ink, parts of sheet music from Remember the Lord, weekend early this year hosted partly by my church. Hope you enjoy it.

I love this print it is a cynaotype. I took a photograph I had taken back in 1980 in Colorado in Georgetown, ( the deep freeze) and used it as the bases for this. Love the color and of course the subject matter, as it is my oldest and dearest son Bond Ery Plate. He just turned 26 years old. WOW! How time flies by. The beautiful thing is I do remember this and have some wonderful memories of our times together. Like yesterday, spent the evening with him, playing darts, eating chili , watching t.v. and talking. What a super guy he has turned out to be. And believe me when I say I had some heart ache along the way. Hope you enjoy this print, even half as much as I do.

I am still at it, hard, and heavy.

Not, sure if that is good or not, but I know that 90% of life is showing up. SO where my art is getting better, or the same, atleast I am expressing my feelings, I am showing up.
