I realize God has me heart and soul first. Do you believe in love at first sight?
A beach retreat with a mix of kids and their partners, a dream in living color.
I daydream about a mixed grouping of old and new.
A blending of families and loves.
Like loaves of bread in a neat row yet all shaped a bit different.
Is it possible to mend old hurts and extend trust across marriage lines?
New partners new memories.
The waves crashing against the sores of all that went wrong.
The sun rises on new hope.
Waking up in your arms with a stampede of children.
Did he tell you he loves you on the first date?
Did you know within the first five minutes they were the one?
From across a crowed room did you watch their moves?
Are you insecure, or confident ?
Do you question what is plainly right in front of you, ( I do like this man or woman)?
Or have you gone around the bend?
Are you spending your time talking yourself out of it?
Hope is about waiting on them for the right time for more assurance so you don’t look like a fool?
Calling a guy a boyfriend doesn’t guarantee a lasting relationship.
Or being asked to be someone’s girl.
Waiting to have intimacy does that promise success?
Making a man wait for intimacy it is more a matter of making yourself wait until you are sure. It’s more than a pleasure factor. In fact for some there is no pleasure without love, commitment, respect, expressing and strengthen a bond between two people.
Can this possible work, what do we have in common, do I have to give up my identity? In love you often lose yourself.
I want to remain visible.
As you can see I have more questions than answers.
I love stories of how couples first meet, not through a dating site, but the old fashion way. If you have a story please share with me.
But I do have a dream of waking up in his arms in a beach house we rented and we have his kids my kids and it’s seamless. Of course their is jazz playing in the background the smell of coffee, fresh cinnamon rolls baking in the oven and much laughter fills the air.
I walk out onto the beach.
It’s beauty and light!
