I created my first fabric bowl today. Cut circle then long strip for sides and sewed bottom to stripe. There were some puckering. But. Just accepted it all. Beauty in that! Sewed pieces of fabric on top of sides, and long colorful strips around and round. I put four darts in top equaled spaced apart. I think I’ll get some spray starch and try that to stiffen up, over all. I show the inside as it was quiet satisfying. Indeed. Give it a try just use all fabric scraps, and go with the flow. Don’t try to match just mix as you go. I used the machine but also would be quiet fulfilling to sew by hand . Love the messy look and feel of finished product!
